Abrar Ahmad is an associate practicing civil litigation, family law, and corporate/commercial law.

Prior to joining Helsons LLP, Abrar articled and was an associate at a boutique firm in Toronto. During that time period, Abrar represented corporations and individuals in litigations matters in both the Small Claims Court and the Superior Court, reputable condominium developers in real estate transactions, and businesses in corporate and commercial matters.

Abrar received his law degree from the University of Ottawa in 2023. During law school, Abrar worked as a legal caseworker at the Community Legal Aid Clinic in Ottawa, representing tenants at the Landlord and Tenant Board. Prior to law school, Abrar graduated with distinction from York University.

When Abrar is not in the office, he spends his time avidly rooting for the Toronto Raptors and participating in the local basketball community in the Halton and Peel region.
